Hindi Department established in the year 1956. Present Head of the Dept. Sri. Suresh Kamatikar. The Department Students are an active & dynamic they participate in many debate/ Elocution competitions. Every year Hindi Dept celebrates Hindi Day grandly on behalf of Hindi day celebration many competitions will be held, & many great personalities were invited as chief guest.

Hindi Dept result all most all year is 100%, Appreciating thing is that in academic result maximum number of the students passed with Distinction & First class. The department conducts regular seminars, group discussion & assignments. At present student strength of the department B.Sc 1 st sem is 36 & B.Sc 3 rd sem is 30.

FUTURE PLAN OF THE DEPARTMENT :

• Skill based training to students.
• To take up Major research projects for faculty.
